Kid’s Klub with Debbie
Debbie will help the kids as they work on projects in each of these groups.

Fabric Wrapped Bowls
Joanne will teach you this quick and easy method for creating bowls of various sizes using fabric and clothesline. 

German Rug Braiding
Beware, this craft is addictive.  It may even be as bad as quilting (a.k.a Fabric Collecting).  It is so much fun to create a beautiful braided rug using scraps of fabric – and with this method you don’t sew the braids together, it is all done in one step.  The rugs are durable and easy to clean.   You can use strips from your stash or purchase some of our strip bundles.  You will love this class!

Beginning Punch Needle Embroidery    
Punch Needle embroidery is the hottest new craft because the projects are quick and so darn cute.  Come join Jill and learn how to create your own punchneedle pin or pendant.  You will want to keep on going!

Come join the fun as we learn some advanced needlepunch skills and techniques to punch up a sweet little “Simplify” project.  Students will learn Teresa’s style of drawing/tracing a pattern correctly, how to keep those loops nice and even, and how to finish off the punching with an “antique” flair!  Teresa is an experienced teacher that has been needlepunching for several years and has had her patterns published in Create and Decorate magazine.

Sunday Satchel – Easy Tote Bag
Are all your tote bags cheap canvas ones that you picked up at quilt shows or trade conventions?  Do you avoid buying yourself a nice one because you know you could make one yourself for a fraction of the cost?  (But then you never get around to doing it)  This is the class you have been waiting for.  Bring a square of quilted fabric and you will walk out with a completed tote.  Theresa will also show you how to make some cute matching accessories so that you can become the ultra-coordinated woman you always dreamed of being.

Quilted Mat and Ruler Bag
Every Quilter needs one of these bags. Inside you can fit your Mat, your Shape Cut Ruler and much more (you can stuff a few yards of fabric down in there, too!), and there is a pocket on the outside for your long rulers.  It carries everything nice and flat so you don’t need to worry about warping.  You can even use it to store your supplies hanging flat.

Foldover Bag
This soft, foldover bag is lightweight and roomy with a shoulder strap. The outside is made with 3 fat quarters and has a coordinating lining, complete it in just 3 hours! Make it to coordinate with your clothing or personality. You'll use the pattern by Renee Plains as a guide, Deb will show you a few tricks to make it easier to put together. Once you make one, you'll want to make more to give as gifts, you're going to have fun with this one!"

Beginning Penny Rug     
A simple little wool penny rug mat that’s just PERFECT for beginners.  Come join the fun as we make and complete this project in class!  Learn tips and techniques to use as your springboard to bigger projects! Teresa has put together a kit for you which includes everything you need except for a small pair of embroidery scissors.

Frosty the Ornament - 2007
These two cuties are this year's creations from Deb. The star is about 4" tall, the other is about 2 1/2" tall.   A kit will be provided as part of your class fee.  Each kit contains everything you will need to completes both snowmen shown, including all the embellishments!  You'll leave the class with them ready to hang on your tree or give them away for ornament exchanges, secret Santa gifts or package tie-ons. This would be a fun class to do with the younger (age 8 and up) girl in your life.  Extra kits will be available for purchase in the shop.

Basket Weaving
Carrie’s Favorite Tote Basket
Many of you have asked about the basket I use all the time to tote my sewing supplies.  It is a perfect size, and it has webbing for handles, which makes it so easy to sling over your shoulder.  Nancy will be teaching it so that everyone can have one of these great baskets.

Holiday Basket
This is a great basket for Christmas cards, a holiday floral arrangement, or other types of decorations.  You can hang it up or sit it on a table.  We have purchased several holiday wire shapes for you to choose from to make this adorable basket your own.
