Pieceful Peculiar Challenge

January – April 2012

This peculiar challenge will be comprised of four parts.  Stop in the shop each month and pick up your free handout which will direct you in making one of the four challenge pieces.  At the end of the four months, the challenge will be coming up with a unique quilt using the challenge pieces.  This mysterious quilt can be completed using your stash, fat quarters, or a combination of the two. 

Second Annual Pieceful Retreat

March 9^th – 11^th

Join us for a wonderful relaxing weekend of sewing and fun at the Loyola Retreat Center in Woodstock IL.  The facility will open at 3:00 on Friday with official retreat activities beginning after dinner at 6:00.  Tara Lynn Darr of Sew Unique creations will lead us in making a wall hanging in a Saturday morning workshop.  Other retreat activities will include Fat Quarter Bingo, “Show and Tell” and lots of chocolate eating!  Fee includes six delicious meals (Friday dinner – Sunday lunch) and overnight accommodations.  A deposit of $50 is required to hold your spot.  Signup soon, spaces are filling up quickly. 

                Fee: $280 double or $320 single

2012 Pieceful Auction

Don’t miss our 2012 Pieceful Auction.  Starting in January, you will want to collect as many “Pieceful Bucks” as possible.  Bucks are earned by spending money in the shop, bringing “show and tell” to the shop, and various other ways.  Then come to the auction and bid on quilting items with your “bucks”.    Stay tuned for details on other ways to earn bucks this year.
