Pieceful Demos & BOM's - Fall 2009

Our Demos will usually run about ½ hour and there are usually no fees for the short lecture; however, some demos may require a pattern or other supplies to complete the project.  Occasionally we will request that you register and pay in advance so that we make sure to have enough patterns and kits available.

North & South 8 Month Block-of-the-Month *NEW*

This quilt is a tribute to battlefields on both sides of the Mason Dixon Line that were involved in the Civil War.  It will be completed in 8 months.  Each month 3 battlefield blocks will be presented, one month we will do the Mason Dixon Line and finally end with the setting of this quilt.  Kits will be available for each block.  Finished quilt size is 79" x 79".

Commitment Fee:  A commitment fee of $20 gets you a coupon for $20 off of your backing fabric once you have purchased all 7 kits, plus a coupon for 10% off your setting & border fabric.  You will need to purchase on your own 1 yard of light setting fabric, 1 yard of dark setting fabric, ½ yard inner border & 1 1/3 yard outer border.  Kit’s for months 1-7 will cost between $10 and $15 each.

 

Settlers Pride Wool BOM *NEW*

This new BOM from Blackberry Primitives is designed by Maggie Bonanomi.  It is made from all 100% hand dyed wools and is absolutely gorgeous.  This is a 10 month program that will start in November.  Each month we will work on one section of this beautiful quilt.  Finished quilt size is 56” x 60”.

Back by popular demand, this free demo BOM will be presented over nine months featuring one simple yet creative traditional block per month. The kits for this project will be available in three colorways, gold & red with hints of green, blue and tan with pink, and patriotic.

%    Make your block and bring it to the next demo and your 2nd kit

      is FREE!

%    Each month that you bring in the completed block from the

      previous month your kit will be FREE

%    If you don’t complete your block, you must purchase    your kit

      for $5.00.

%    If you can’t make it on the demo night you can come at a later

      date and purchase your kit for $5.00.

%   You must appear IN PERSON to get a free kit

%    Finishing kits will be available for you to purchase at the end of
